ENTREPRENEURS DAY CELEBRATION

 

On 21.08.2023, an Entrepreneurs Day Celebration was arranged with 109 student participants, aiming to inspire students to cultivate their entrepreneurial talents. During the event, approximately 17 aspiring entrepreneurs from the CDF department shared insights into their journey, discussing the hurdles they encountered and the strides they made in their professional endeavors.

BLOUSE CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP

 

A workshop was conducted on 17.08.2023 & 18.08.2023 for 38 students from II B.Sc CDF to improve their skills in Blouse design. The workshop was led by Ms. P. Seetha, the General Manager of Erode Academy in Erode. With her expertise, the participants could explore and enhance their abilities in Blouse design, which provided a platform for creative expression and skill development.

AWARENESS OF FINANCIAL STARTUP

&

AWARDING NSDC CERTIFICATION CEREMONY

 

            On 26.12.2023, the department hosted an enlightening awareness program to educate students on financial startups. The program also included a prestigious NSDC certification ceremony, which recognized the hard work and dedication of the students. The session was presented by Mr. T. Arun, a highly experienced Senior Manager at Canara Bank in Erode. Mr. Arun shared his wealth of knowledge and offered valuable insights into the world of finance, helping the attendees to develop a deeper understanding of the subject. The program was incredibly successful, and 109 students from the CDF department were fortunate enough to have benefited from this enlightening session.

AARI EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

 

            On 01.09.2023 and 04.09.2023, workshops were conducted for 36 students from III B.Sc CDF to foster skill enhancement in Aari Designing among students. The sessions featured Mrs. Sangeetha and Mrs. Nandhini, Master trainers from Erode Academy, as resource persons. With their expertise, participants were guided through immersive learning experiences, equipping them with valuable insights and practical techniques in Aari Designing.

FASHION DALLAL’S 2024 - TWO DAY EXHIBITION CUM SALE 

    The Fashion Dallal is a two-day exhibition cum sales event that was held on 01.03.2024 & 02.03.2024. The event aimed to provide students with practical experience in sales management and fashion merchandising. Mr. V.E. Krishna Kumaresh, Managing Partner of SRPM Group of Companies, Erode, was warmly welcomed as a guest. The event featured engaging sessions led by industry professionals, providing attendees with valuable insights into the latest trends and methodologies shaping the fashion industry. The Fashion Dallal served as a vibrant platform for talent cultivation and skill development, empowering students to thrive in the dynamic realm of fashion. A total of 109 students participated in the event.
